Aaron Hill, Cocaine Conspiracy, New York 2023

Published August 27, 2018

A 31-year-old Cheektowaga man has been sentenced for his role in a cocaine conspiracy near a Buffalo school.

Aaron Hill was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, 500 grams or more of cocaine, and was sentenced to serve 37 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara, according to U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr.

The conspiracy, which took place between May 2017 and October 18, 2017, involved Hill and several co-defendants, including Stevie Alejandro, who operated the Barberians Barber Shop at 1132 East Lovejoy Street, directly across from Buffalo Public School #43, the Lovejoy Discovery School.

Alejandro conducted negotiations with an undercover law enforcement officer regarding the sale, cost, amount, and delivery of cocaine, while Hill or one of his co-conspirators would conduct the drug transaction with the undercover officer, with all proceeds going back to Alejandro.

Hill was involved in a total of 14 cocaine sales, either direct hand-to-hand sales or by facilitating the distribution via other co-conspirators.

Defendants Alejandro, Gilbert Guzman, and Cleophus Dentmond were previously convicted, while charges are pending against Catherine Ramos.

The investigation was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Buffalo Police Department, the Cheektowaga Police Department, and the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.
