Alejandro Ruiz, Violent Crime, Texas 2018

On October 10, 2018, Alejandro Ruiz, a 35-year-old resident of El Paso, Texas, was indicted in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas on multiple federal charges related to violent crime.

The charges against Ruiz included one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. According to court documents, Ruiz was accused of possessing a 9mm semi-automatic pistol with an obliterated serial number, which he allegedly used in the commission of a crime.
