Angel Aranda-Vazquez, Reentry by an Illegal Alien, Iowa 2025
Grimy Times has learned that Angel Aranda-Vazquez, a 37-year-old man from Mexico, has been sentenced to 168 days imprisonment for reentering the United States after being found with illegal identification documents in Tama County, Iowa.
According to sources, Aranda-Vazquez had previously been removed from the country and was found after trying to use the fake documents in Iowa. He pleaded guilty to the charges on June 25, 2025, and was sentenced on September 22, 2025, by United States District Court Chief Judge C.J. Williams.
Aranda-Vazquez's prison term includes a one-year term of supervised release after he serves his 168-day sentence. However, there is no parole in the federal system.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Nicole L. Nagin and investigated by the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations.
This case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative that aims to repel the invasion of illegal immigration and protect communities from violent crime.
