Angel Estuardo Marchorro-Giron, Re-Entry with Substance Offenses, Virginia 2024

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – A Guatemalan national has been arrested and charged with re-entering the United States after being previously removed.

Angel Estuardo Marchorro-Giron, 34, was removed from the United States on March 16, 2017, pursuant to a final order of removal, and was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) on Sept. 25, 2020, in Fairfax County.

On Oct. 1, 2024, Marchorro-Giron was arrested in Prince George’s County, Maryland, for two counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance and possession of a loaded handgun in a vehicle.

He pleaded guilty to illegally reentering the United States following a previous removal on June 24. He remains subject to the prior order of removal.

Marchorro-Giron faces charges of:

1. Re-entry after previous removal (18 U.S.C. § 1326)

2. Possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1))

3. Possession of a loaded handgun in a vehicle (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1))

He is currently in custody and awaiting sentencing.
