Anthony Parent Pleads Guilty to Possessing Child Pornography in Bangor, Maine

Bangor, Maine - In a disturbing case of child exploitation, Anthony Parent, 22, of Milford, Maine, has pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography.

According to court records, from October 31, 2013, to July 17, 2014, Parent kept images and videos of child pornography on his personal computer, uploaded them to online accounts, and used electronic mail services to trade child pornography with others.

The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The defendant faces up to 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and between five years and a lifetime of supervised release.

Parent will be sentenced after the completion of a presentence investigation report by the U.S. Probation Office.
