Armand Taylor, 26, Admits to Heroin Distribution in West Virginia
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA – In a shocking turn of events, Armand Taylor, also known as "Scrap," has admitted to his role in a drug distribution operation, according to U.S. Attorney Bill Powell.
Taylor, a 26-year-old resident of Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, pled guilty to one count of "Distribution of Heroin." The crime took place in June 2017 in Harrison County, West Virginia.
Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, Taylor faces up to 20 years incarceration and a fine of up to $1,000,000. The actual sentence imposed will be based upon the seriousness of the offenses and the prior criminal history, if any, of the defendant.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Traci M. Cook is prosecuting the case on behalf of the government. The case was investigated by the Greater Harrison Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force and the West Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael Aloi presided over the case.
