Between August 25 and September 14, 2016, Blackwell conspired with a co-defendant to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute less than 100 grams of heroin.

Blackwell's conviction and sentence are a significant blow to the heroin trade in Johnstown, and demonstrate the commitment of law enforcement to holding individuals accountable for their role in the opioid epidemic.

The case serves as a reminder that those who engage in heroin distribution will be brought to justice and held accountable for their actions.
