Brad Calvin Titchener, Firearms and Methamphetamine Charges, Wyoming 2016

A Cheyenne man has been convicted of being a felon and unlawful user of a controlled substance in possession of firearms and possession of equipment used to manufacture controlled substances. Brad Calvin Titchener, 48, was found guilty following a two-day jury trial in United States District Court in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

The investigation conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATFE), the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) resulted in the discovery of the firearms and equipment used to manufacture methamphetamine at Titchener’s residence on November 15, 2015, in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Titchener faces up to 14 years in prison for his crimes. His sentencing has been set for August 30, 2016, at 9:30 a.m. before United States District Judge Alan B. Johnson in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Timothy J. Forwood, with the assistance of the case agent, DCI Special Agent Colin Ryder.

The charges against Titchener include being a felon and unlawful user of a controlled substance in possession of firearms and possession of equipment used to manufacture controlled substances.

Titchener’s residence in Cheyenne, Wyoming was the site of the discovery of the firearms and equipment used to manufacture methamphetamine. The investigation was a joint effort by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATFE), the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO).

Titchener will be sentenced on August 30, 2016, at 9:30 a.m. before United States District Judge Alan B. Johnson in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He faces up to 14 years in prison for his crimes.
