Tucson Man Charged with Defrauding Investors of $10.9 Million

A 40-year-old Oro Valley man has been charged with Wire Fraud and Money Laundering for allegedly defrauding investors of approximately $10.9 million through a business scheme. Brandon Aaron Kreutz, formerly known as Brandon Aaron Moushey, was arrested on May 2026 and made an initial appearance in federal court the following day.

Kreutz is accused of operating under several business names, including Brandon Kreutz Custom LLC, BKC Firearms, and Vice Manufacturing, and making false claims to secure loans from victims. He allegedly told investors that he was a former U.S. Government subcontractor and holder of a patent-pending firearms device with contracts to produce it.

However, the complaint alleges that Kreutz did not apply for a patent on the device nor had the equipment to produce it. He also had not secured manufacturing contracts nor lucrative contracts to purchase the device. Instead, the funds were used to purchase a million-dollar personal residence, luxury and exotic vehicles, a race car, and membership in a racing club, among other things.

The FBI Phoenix Division's Tucson Office and IRS-Criminal Investigation are conducting the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Mary Sue Feldmeier is handling the prosecution. Anyone with information regarding this alleged scheme or who may have fallen victim to it is encouraged to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or online at tips.fbi.gov.

Kreutz is currently facing charges of Wire Fraud and Money Laundering. A criminal complaint is a formal accusation of criminal conduct, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

The case number for this matter is 26-MJ-2189, and the release number is 2026-081_Kreutz.
