A Tulsa man was sentenced to 121 months imprisonment for his role in a child pornography ring.

Brian Harris Carlile, 31, was found guilty of Receipt, Distribution, and Possession of Child Pornography in Indian Country. The case was investigated by the Homeland Security Investigations and Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office.

Carlile admitted to using his cell phone to possess, receive, and distribute images and videos containing minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct from June 2023 through September 2023. Many of the images or videos included minors under the age of 12.

As a citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, Carlile will remain in custody pending transfer to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons. Upon his release, he will be required to register as a sex offender and serve 10 years of supervised release.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Ashley Robert as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.

Restitution for the victims will be determined at a later date.

Carlile is a repeat offender with a history of similar crimes. This sentence is a result of a joint effort by local law enforcement agencies and federal authorities to combat child pornography.
