Brian Warner, Child Pornography, Massachusetts 2024

Brian Warner, a 38-year-old resident of Adams, Massachusetts, has been arrested and charged with producing child pornography. Warner was taken into custody on today after a federal grand jury in Springfield indicted him on one count of sexual exploitation of a child.

According to the indictment, between July 2016 and December 2016, Warner allegedly employed, used, persuaded, induced, enticed, and coerced a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

The charges of sexual exploitation of a child and attempted sexual exploitation of a child carry a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years and up to 30 years in prison, a lifetime of supervised release, and a $250,000 fine.

Warner was detained pending a detention hearing tomorrow after his initial appearance in federal court in Springfield.

Acting United States Attorney Joshua S. Levy and Michael J. Krol, Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations in New England, made the announcement today. Assistant U.S. Attorney Catherine G. Curley of the Springfield Branch Office is prosecuting the case.

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse, launched in May 2006 by the federal government. Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children, as well as identify and rescue victims.

The details contained in the indictment are allegations. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
