Brian Warner, Sexual Exploitation of a Child, Massachusetts 2025

BOSTON - In a disturbing case of child exploitation, Brian Warner, 38, pleaded guilty to the production of child sexual abuse material in federal court. The crime, which involved a minor, took place between July 2016 and December 2016.

Warner, a resident of Adams, Massachusetts, pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of a child before U.S. District Court Judge Myong J. Joun. Sentencing is scheduled for February 12, 2026.

According to charging documents, Warner employed, used, persuaded, induced, enticed, and coerced a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing visual depictions of that conduct.

The charges of sexual exploitation of a child and attempted sexual exploitation of a child carry a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years and up to 30 years in prison, a lifetime of supervised release, and a $250,000 fine.

Acting United States Attorney Leah B. Foley and Michael Krol, Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations in New England made the announcement. Assistant U.S. Attorney Caroline G. Merck of the Springfield Office is prosecuting the case.

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. Led by the U.S. Attorneys' Offices and the DOJ's Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section, Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children, as well as identify and rescue victims.
