Brickie Cole Jackson, Meth Distribution, Montana 2024
Grimy Times has learned that a Wolf Point man has been found guilty of distributing methamphetamine to a minor.
According to U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme, Brickie Cole Jackson, 36, pleaded guilty to distribution of methamphetamine to a person under 21 years of age.
The alleged crime took place in November 2023 at Wolf Point High School, where a 16-year-old female student, Jane Doe, admitted to using drugs and tested positive. Doe revealed that she had visited Jackson's house multiple times and the defendant provided her with methamphetamine on several occasions.
Jackson admitted to providing Doe with the substance but claimed he believed she was 18 years old at the time. He stated that Doe stayed with him on two occasions and gave her approximately one gram of methamphetamine each time.
The U.S. Attorney's Office prosecuted the case, with assistance from the FBI, Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice, and Wolf Point Police Department.
Jackson faces a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment of 1 year, a maximum term of 40 years, and a $2,000,000 fine. He will also be subject to at least 6 years of supervised release. Sentencing is set for October 30, 2025.
This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods, a program aimed at reducing violent crime and gun violence by bringing together law enforcement and the communities they serve.
