Cash Burch, a 35-year-old man from Des Moines, Iowa, has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for his role in a methamphetamine distribution ring. The sentencing took place on May 17, 2019, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Burch was found guilty of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine on February 4, 2019. During the trial, it was revealed that Burch had become involved in a conspiracy to distribute ice methamphetamine while he was incarcerated in state prison for state felony drug charges.

After his release from state prison, Burch continued to participate in the conspiracy, distributing over 10 pounds of ice methamphetamine. His actions led to a 10-year prison term, as well as an 8-year term of supervised release after his prison term.
