Caswell Senior, Racketeering and Narcotics Trafficking, New York 2022
Caswell Senior, a 35-year-old recording artist from Montville, New Jersey, has pleaded guilty to racketeering and narcotics offenses in New York. Senior, whose stage name is Casanova, admitted to participating in a shooting in Florida on July 5, 2020, a robbery in New York City on August 5, 2018, and conspiring to traffic over 100 kilograms of marijuana.
According to the indictment, Senior was associated with the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation Bloods Gang, also known as Gorilla Stone, a violent Bloods gang that operates in New York and across the country. Senior was an active participant in the gang's violence, including the shooting in Miami and the robbery at a Manhattan diner.
Senior is the 13th defendant in the Gorilla Stone case to plead guilty. He faces a maximum term of 60 years in prison, with a mandatory minimum term of five years, for conspiring to conduct and participate in the conduct of the affairs of a criminal enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity and conspiring to distribute over 100 kilograms of marijuana.
The case was investigated by the FBI Westchester County Safe Streets Task Force, which is comprised of special agents and task force officers from the FBI, US Probation, New York State Police, New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, NYPD, Westchester County PD, and other agencies.
Senior is scheduled to be sentenced by U.S. District Judge Philip M. Halpern on December 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.
