Local Couple Indicted for Methamphetamine Distribution and Firearms Charges
A Oklahoma City man and woman are facing serious charges after a federal grand jury indicted them for distributing methamphetamine and possessing multiple firearms.
Christopher Chad Pool, 39, and Christina Loral Pool, 25, were indicted on August 21, 2018, for possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute. The indictment also charges them with possession of a machine gun, a silencer, and two unregistered firearms.
The Pools were also indicted for being felons in possession of three firearms, and for possessing these firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime. If found guilty, they face a maximum statutory sentence of 40 years for the methamphetamine charge, and a maximum of 10 years for each of the firearms charges.
The indictment seeks forfeiture of a pistol, two rifles, ammunition, a silencer, and approximately $5,789 in currency. The case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods, a program aimed at reducing violent crime.
The investigation was conducted by Homeland Security Investigations and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Nicholas J. Patterson and Wilson D. McGarry are prosecuting the case.
The indictment charges the Pools with:
- Possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute
- Possession of a machine gun
- Possession of a silencer
- Possession of two unregistered firearms
- Being felons in possession of three firearms
- Possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime
