Tuba City Man Sentenced to 46 Months for Stabbing

PHOENIX, Ariz. – A Tuba City man has been sentenced to 46 months in prison for stabbing a victim on the Navajo Nation in 2019.

Christopher Mann, 44, pleaded guilty to Assault with a Dangerous Weapon in a U.S. District Court.

On November 11, 2019, Mann stabbed a victim in Tuba City, Arizona, and then chased the victim until they entered a restaurant to seek help.

Mann, an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Michael T. Liburdi on yesterday to 46 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.

The FBI and the Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety conducted the investigation in this case.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Ben Goldberg and Alexander Samuels handled the prosecution for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Arizona.
