Christopher Ostroushko, Paige Ostroushko, and Deyanna Ostroushko, Assault and Intimidation, Minnesota 2026

Published April 29, 2026

A federal grand jury in Minneapolis has indicted three individuals, Christopher Ostroushko, Deyanna Ostroushko, and Paige Ostroushko, for allegedly assaulting a journalist and Turning Point USA contributor, Savannah Hernandez, while she was reporting on an anti-ICE protest outside a federal building in St. Paul, Minnesota, on April 11, 2026.

The indictment charges the trio with assaulting Hernandez, willfully and forcefully injuring and intimidating her.

According to the indictment, the defendants allegedly surrounded Hernandez, physically assaulted her, and shoved her to the ground because she was identified as a conservative journalist.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche stated, 'Hernandez was allegedly surrounded, physically assaulted, and shoved to the ground — simply because she was identified by the defendants as a conservative journalist. That is NOT 'peaceful protest.' These deplorable actions as charged in the indictment will not be tolerated in America, and this Department of Justice will always punish unhinged acts of political violence.'

United States Attorney Daniel N. Rosen for the District of Minnesota also commented, 'Political violence is a national scourge, and federal law enforcement will not tolerate it.'

The FBI, HSI, and the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office are investigating the case.

An indictment is merely an allegation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

The mandatory facts of this case are as follows: the defendants are Christopher Ostroushko, Deyanna Ostroushko, and Paige Ostroushko; the exact criminal charges are assault and intimidation; the city and state are St. Paul, Minnesota; the exact date is April 11, 2026; and the current status of the case is that an indictment has been unsealed.
