Methamphetamine Charge Lands Morgantown Man in Prison

A Monongalia County man has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term for a methamphetamine charge. Clay Westbrook, of Morgantown, West Virginia, was sentenced to 151 months of incarceration, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Randolph J. Bernard.

Westbrook, age 39, pled guilty in December 2020 to one count of 'Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine.' The crime occurred in December 2019 in Monongalia County.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Zelda E. Wesley on behalf of the government. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Mon Metro Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, investigated the crime.
