A Fort Dodge man has been sentenced to federal prison for methamphetamine offenses. Cody Lee was sentenced to 30 months in prison for violating the Chemical Diversion and Trafficking Act and the Controlled Substances Act.
According to the Department of Justice, Cody Lee was charged with one count of possession of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine and one count of possession of methamphetamine. He pleaded guilty to both charges on June 14, 2023.
The sentencing was announced by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Alabama. The investigation was conducted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, and the Fort Dodge Police Department.
