Bank Robber Sentenced to Life Behind Bars?

A brazen bank heist in Pennsylvania has landed a suspect in federal custody. Corbin Will, a 40-year-old man from Garrett, Pa., has been accused of robbing the First National Bank in Loganton, Pa., of $3,697 on May 31, 2012.

According to the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Will is also charged with conspiracy to rob three Pennsylvania banks between May 3, 2012, and May 31, 2012. The indictment alleges that Will aided and abetted Nicole Lynn Durst in the robbery.

Durst, who pleaded guilty to robbery and conspiracy charges in 2013, is currently serving time in prison. Will is currently being held in custody in West Virginia and Maryland on related bank robbery charges.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pennsylvania State Police. Assistant United States Attorney George J. Rocktashel is handling the prosecution.

Will faces a maximum sentence of 90 years in prison, a term of supervised release following imprisonment, and a fine. The statutory maximum penalty does not accurately reflect the potential sentence, as the judge will consider various factors, including the nature and seriousness of the offense and the defendant's history and characteristics.

Will's indictment is a stark reminder that bank robbers will be caught and brought to justice. The people of Pennsylvania deserve to feel safe in their banks and communities. We will continue to follow this case and bring you updates as more information becomes available.
