Philadelphia Man Charged with Robbery

Curtis Richardson, a 48-year-old Philadelphia man, has been accused of committing a string of bank robberies in the city. According to the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Richardson allegedly robbed the Conestoga Bank at 1032 Arch Street in Philadelphia on August 31, 2013, the Citizens Bank at 2001 Market Street in Philadelphia on September 1, 2013, and the Conestoga Bank at 1835 Market Street in Philadelphia on September 4, 2013.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Philadelphia Police Department. If convicted, Richardson faces a maximum possible sentence of 60 years in prison, a $750,000 fine, and $300 in special assessments.

The indictment was announced by United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Marianne Cox.
