Danzavious Dolphus, Heroin Distribution, West Virginia 2017

A Michigan man has admitted to distributing heroin in West Virginia, according to court documents.

Danzavious Dolphus, 24, of Harper Woods, Michigan, plead guilty to one count of 'Distribution of Heroin' in a Monongalia County court.

Dolphus, also known as 'Dash,' admitted to selling heroin in June 2017 in Monongalia County, West Virginia.

As a result of his guilty plea, Dolphus faces up to 20 years incarceration and a fine of up to $1,000,000.

According to the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed will be based upon the seriousness of the offenses and the prior criminal history, if any, of the defendant.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Zelda E. Wesley is prosecuting the case on behalf of the government.

The Mon Metro Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, investigated the case.

Sr. U.S. District Judge Irene M. Keeley presided over the case.

Dolphus's crime was committed in June 2017 in Monongalia County, West Virginia.

The defendant, Danzavious Dolphus, is a 24-year-old man from Harper Woods, Michigan.
