Pittsburgh Mail Thief on the Run
David E. Moore Jr., 26, and Joshua J. Frantz, 25, two former residents of DuBois, Pennsylvania, have been caught in a massive mail theft scheme in the DuBois area.
According to the indictment, from February through March of 2016, Moore and Frantz stole mail from mail receptacles at an apartment complex in the DuBois area.
The two-count indictment, returned on February 19, names David E. Moore Jr. and Joshua J. Frantz as defendants.
Moore and Frantz are charged with conspiracy and mail theft, with the law providing for a maximum total sentence of 10 years in prison, a fine of $500,000 or both.
Assistant United States Attorney Rebecca L. Silinski is prosecuting this case on behalf of the government.
The United States Postal Inspection Service and the DuBois Police Department conducted the investigation leading to the indictment in this case.
