A Dayton man, Ke-Shawn Rivers, also known as ‘JayZ,’ is in deep trouble after law enforcement seized multiple kilograms of fentanyl, cocaine, and cash from a safe during a search warrant execution on March 11.
Between September 2025 and January 2026, Rivers allegedly distributed fentanyl on multiple occasions, earning him 13 original counts of distributing the deadly opioid.
Those counts now multiply with new charges of possessing with the intent to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl and 500 grams or more of cocaine, possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and illegally possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
Rivers faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years and up to life in prison for his alleged crimes.
