Demetrius Brown, a 35-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, was at the center of a high-profile federal case in 2011. Brown was charged with multiple counts of violent crimes, including robbery, kidnapping, and assault.

On November 30, 2011, Brown was indicted by a grand jury in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (ILND Federal District).

The charges against Brown were filed under Case No. 11-cr-00714, and he was accused of committing the crimes between February and March 2011. According to court documents, Brown allegedly robbed multiple businesses, took hostages, and assaulted several individuals during a string of violent incidents.
