A 26-year-old man from Destrehan, Louisiana, has been sentenced to 151 months in federal prison for committing a bank robbery in Kenner, Louisiana.
On August 2, 2017, Dillon Davis entered the Chase Bank located at 3540 Williams Boulevard in Kenner, Louisiana, and demanded $1,000 in U.S. currency from a bank teller.
The federal indictment alleged that Davis committed a bank robbery in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 2113(a).
Davis' two prior drug convictions qualified him as a career offender, thus enhancing his sentencing guideline range.
The case was designated as a Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) case, the centerpiece of the government's violent crime reduction efforts.
