MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – In a shocking revelation, Dock Lee Shoemaker, a 60-year-old resident of Calera, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to failing to register as a sex offender.

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced the guilty plea on [Date]. According to the indictment, Shoemaker was convicted of felony Sexual Battery in the State of Oklahoma on February 3, 2016, and was required to register as a sex offender.

However, from August 2020 until April 16, 2025, Shoemaker failed to register and update his registration while entering, leaving, or residing in Indian country, within the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

The charge arose from an investigation by the U.S. Marshals Service, which led to the discovery of Shoemaker’s failure to comply with registration requirements.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jessie K. Pippin represented the United States in this case. The Honorable Gerald L. Jackson, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report.
