A Choteau man was sentenced for Involuntary Manslaughter in Indian Country after driving impaired and causing a fatal car wreck, announced U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson.

Dustin Lee was sentenced on June 14, 2023 for his role in the fatal car wreck that occurred on August 13, 2022 in the Middle District of Alabama.

Lee was found guilty of Involuntary Manslaughter in Indian Country, a felony offense, after a trial in federal court. The charges against Lee stemmed from a car wreck that resulted in the death of another individual.
