Dwayne Powell, Violent Crime, Florida 2014

In a shocking turn of events, Dwayne Powell, a 35-year-old resident of Miami, Florida, was taken into custody on June 5, 2014, in connection with a federal criminal case that left investigators stunned.

According to sources, Powell was charged with multiple counts of violent crimes, including armed robbery, kidnapping, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The charges were filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, specifically in the Fort Lauderdale Division (FLND).

Prosecutors alleged that Powell, who had a history of violent behavior, committed a series of brazen robberies in the Miami area between March and May 2014. During these incidents, he allegedly used a firearm to threaten his victims and even took one person hostage.

A thorough investigation, led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), was launched to apprehend Powell and bring him to justice. After a lengthy manhunt, Powell was finally located on June 5, 2014, and taken into custody by FBI agents.
