Election Interference, Voter Fraud, Rhode Island 2014

Published June 22, 2015

Rhode Islanders, beware: the scoundrels are lurking at the polls, and the Grimy Times has got the scoop. United States Attorney Peter F. Neronha has announced that his office, in conjunction with the FBI, will be cracking down on election fraud and voting rights abuses in the Ocean State.

According to sources, Assistant United States Attorney Terrence P. Donnelly has been appointed to lead the investigations, and will be working closely with the Justice Department's headquarters in Washington to ensure that every vote counts, and every voter is protected.

It's a serious issue, folks. The statute is clear: no one can intimidate or bribe voters, buy and sell votes, impersonate voters, alter vote tallies, stuff ballot boxes, or mark ballots for voters without their consent. It's a federal crime, and the punishment is severe.

The U.S. Attorney's Office has set up a hotline for the public to report any suspected election fraud or voting rights abuses - (401) 709-5068. And if you think you've been the victim of voter intimidation, report it to the FBI at (401) 272-8310.

Rhode Islanders, don't let the cheats win. Make sure your voice is heard, and your vote is counted. And if you see something, say something.

Stay vigilant, Rhode Island. The Grimy Times will keep you informed, every step of the way.

And remember, the Justice Department is watching - and waiting. Don't think you can get away with election interference or voter fraud in Rhode Island. The law is on our side, and we will not rest until justice is served.
