York County Man Charged With Child Pornography Offenses

HARRISBURG, PA - A 34-year-old man from York County has been charged with child pornography offenses.

Eliezer Almanzar, a resident of York County, Pennsylvania, was indicted on April 17, 2024, by a federal grand jury with two counts of sexually exploiting a child to produce child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Penn Township Police Department. Assistant United States Attorney K. Wesley Mishoe is prosecuting the case.

The case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.

The maximum penalty upon conviction for the charged offenses is 160 years imprisonment, a lifetime term of supervised release following imprisonment, a fine, a statutory assessment, and a special assessment.

Indictments are only allegations, and all persons charged are presumed to be innocent unless and until found guilty in court.
