After serving seven years in prison, St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s officers checked his address after his release in 2014 and found him absent from his Morgan City residence.
A warrant was issued for his arrest, and U.S. Marshals arrested Tucker on May 4, 2017, in a hotel in San Antonio, Texas.
The U.S. Marshals Service and the St. Mary Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph T. Mickel prosecuted the case.
