Felony Conviction Lands Torrance County Man Behind Bars

Fredric Dodd, a 40-year-old resident of McIntosh, N.M., has pleaded guilty to violating federal firearms laws in New Mexico. According to the indictment, Dodd committed the offense in Eddy County, N.M., on May 20, 2015.

At the time of the offense, Dodd was prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition due to his prior convictions, including aggravated fleeing a law enforcement officer, receiving or transferring a stolen motor vehicle, larceny, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and burglary.
