Gary Brummel, Child Pornography, Iowa 2013

A man from Hull, Iowa, has been sentenced to seven years in federal prison for distributing and receiving child pornography. Gary Brummel, 42, pleaded guilty to the charges on April 17, 2013, and was sentenced on July 24, 2013.

According to court documents, Brummel admitted to knowingly using the Internet to distribute and receive child pornography. He was sentenced to 84 months' imprisonment, with a special assessment of $200 imposed.
