George Jared Peck, Child Pornography, Wyoming 2024
A Greybull man has been sentenced to 125 months' imprisonment for possession of child pornography. George Jared Peck, 36, was sentenced on July 14, 2024, in Cheyenne. According to court documents, on March 5, 2024, the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children received a CyberTip that someone was attempting to upload a Child Exploitation Image online.
The tip was sent to the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, which was able to track it back to Peck. Multiple images and videos were uploaded and distributed from the same account.
Peck had previous felony convictions, including promoting a sexual performance of a child under 17 years of age, corruption of minors, and sexual abuse of children. The DCI-ICAC Task Force investigated this crime, and Z. Seth Griswold prosecuted the case.
The defendant was indicted on Nov. 20, 2024, and pleaded guilty on April 10. The court ordered Peck to pay $23,000 in restitution to the victims whose images were obtained and shared.

In a separate case, a Lander woman was sentenced to 70 months' imprisonment for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and marijuana. Mary Renee Weymouth, 63, was sentenced on July 14, 2024, in Cheyenne.
