Muskogee Man Found Guilty Of Possessing Child Pornography
Muskogee, Oklahoma - Glenn Randall Ferguson, 48, has been found guilty by a federal jury of Possession Of Certain Material Involving The Sexual Exploitation Of Minors, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 2252(a)(4)(B) and 2252(b)(2).
The guilty verdict was handed down on Friday, January 10, 2020, after a four-day trial that began on Tuesday, January 7, 2020.
According to evidence presented at trial, between March 6, 2014, and April 16, 2014, Ferguson knowingly possessed, attempted to possess, and accessed with intent to view images and videos containing visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Over 1,900 images and more than 50 videos of children, ranging from infants to pre-teens, were found on his computer.
The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Muskogee Police Department as part of Project Safe Childhood, a Department of Justice initiative aimed at combating the proliferation of technology-facilitated crimes involving the sexual exploitation of children.
Assistant United States Attorneys Sarah McAmis and Shannon Henson represented the United States in the case.
The Honorable Ronald A. White, District Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, will preside over the sentencing. A presentence report is currently being prepared. Sentencing will be scheduled following its completion.
