Henry Muller, Child Sex Abuse Material, California 2026
A San Francisco man has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for his role in producing, distributing, and receiving child sex abuse material.
Henry Muller, 33, was sentenced by Senior U.S. District Judge Edward M. Chen on Feb. 12, 2026, after pleading guilty to two counts of production of child pornography, one count of distribution of child pornography, and one count of receipt of child pornography.
Muller was indicted by a federal grand jury in July 2023 and pleaded guilty on Jan. 9, 2025. In his plea, Muller admitted to producing video recordings of a minor victim, Minor 1, on July 12, 2022, and July 13, 2022, and distributing a video of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct via the internet on July 17, 2022.
Muller also admitted to receiving a visual depiction of another minor victim, Minor 2, engaging in sexually explicit conduct via the internet on October 17, 2022.
U.S. Attorney Craig H. Missakian and FBI Special Agent in Charge Sanjay Virmani made the announcement.
Muller has been in custody since his arrest in 2023 and will begin serving his prison term immediately. In addition to the prison term, Judge Chen sentenced Muller to a 15-year period of supervised release, which will begin after his term of imprisonment.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Roland Chang prosecuted the case with the assistance of Christine Tian. The prosecution is the result of an investigation by the FBI and San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
