Holly Thomas, Violating Federal Narcotics Laws, Pennsylvania 2012
A 23-year-old woman from Derry, Pa. has been sentenced to three years' probation, the first six months of which will be home detention with electronic monitoring, and 100 hours of community service, on her conviction of violating federal narcotics laws.
According to court documents, Holly Thomas conspired to distribute and possess with intent to distribute heroin from the spring of 2011 to May 15, 2012, along with co-defendants.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephanie L. Haines on behalf of the government.
United States Attorney David J. Hickton commended the agencies involved in the investigation, including the Laurel Highlands Resident Agency of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Indiana Police Department.
The agencies participating in this investigation included the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office, the Cambria County Drug Task Force, the Cambria County Sheriff's Department, the Cambria County District Attorney's Office, the Indiana County Drug Task Force, and the Indiana County District Attorney's Office.
Holly Thomas was sentenced by United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson in federal court.
The defendant's full name is Holly Thomas, and she is currently 23 years old.
