A Greece man has pled guilty to a disturbing child pornography charge in U.S. District Court. Isolino S. Presutti, Jr., 36, of Greece, NY, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Charles J. Siragusa to possession of child pornography involving prepubescent minors.

The crime, which carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, was committed in March 2023, according to authorities. Presutti possessed three desktop and two laptop computers, which contained approximately 5,690 images and 28 videos of child pornography.

The disturbing images and videos depicted prepubescent children engaged in sexually explicit conduct and violence against children. The plea is the result of an investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, under the direction of Sheriff Todd Baxter, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation Child Exploitation Human Trafficking Task Force, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Matthew Miraglia.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Nicholas M. Testani and Meghan K. McGuire, who are handling the case, stated that the investigation revealed the disturbing images and videos of child pornography.

Sentencing is scheduled for December 12, 2024, at 9:15 a.m. before Judge Siragusa.

The case highlights the need for increased vigilance in protecting children from exploitation and abuse. The guilty plea serves as a warning to those who engage in such heinous crimes that they will be held accountable for their actions.

Presutti’s plea is a significant step in bringing justice to the victims of child pornography. The Rochester community can take pride in knowing that those who commit such crimes will be held accountable.
