Ivan Arrellano-Cruz, Illegal Re-entry, Wyoming 2019
A Casper, Wyoming man has been sentenced for illegal re-entry into the United States. Ivan Arrellano-Cruz, 39, of Mexico, was arrested in Casper, Wyoming.
Arrellano-Cruz was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on December 13, 2019, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States.
He received time served plus ten days to allow for deportation proceedings and was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment.
Arrellano-Cruz had previously been deported to Mexico in January of 2013, according to court records.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security investigated this case.
Arrellano-Cruz is currently serving his sentence and awaiting deportation.
