Jahlil Marsh, 28, Sentenced to 60 Months in Prison for Fentanyl, Methamphetamine Conspiracy

In a major blow to Vermont's drug trade, Jahlil Marsh, 28, was sentenced to 60 months in prison for his role in a fentanyl and methamphetamine conspiracy that spanned Vermont and New Hampshire between February and June 2021.

M Marsh, a former Stowe, Vermont resident, pleaded guilty to participating in a drug trafficking conspiracy, as outlined in a superseding information. Chief U.S. District Court Judge Geoffrey W. Crawford handed down the sentence, which will be followed by a three-year term of supervised release.

This is not Marsh's first run-in with the law. At the time of the conspiracy, he was already serving a term of supervised release stemming from a prior federal felony drug conviction. Judge Crawford imposed an 18-month term of imprisonment, to be served concurrently with Marsh's new 60-month sentence, after Marsh admitted to violating the terms of his supervised release by committing the new offense.

According to court records and statements made on the record in court, Marsh participated in a conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine in Vermont and New Hampshire between February and June 2021. During this time, he both sold and arranged the sale of controlled substances, including fentanyl and methamphetamine.
