James Sexton, 67, Sentenced for Stealing from the Railroad Retirement Board

In a shocking case of government benefits theft, James Sexton, a 67-year-old man from Roanoke, Virginia, was sentenced to six months of home confinement for stealing $454,645 from the Railroad Retirement Board.

In addition to his six months of home confinement, he was also ordered to serve two years of probation, complete 200 hours of community service, and pay a $100,000 fine, as well as a $100 special assessment.
