Rochester Man Sentenced to 8 Months Home Confinement for Possession of Child Pornography

A 24-year-old man from Rochester, New York, has been sentenced to 8 months home confinement and 8 years supervised release for possession of child pornography involving a prepubescent minor. The investigation into Wehs' activities began when the FBI's Child Exploitation Task Force executed a search warrant at his residence in Rochester on September 18, 2019. The search warrant was issued following a cybertip from an online social media company that indicated an account holder had uploaded an image of child pornography. Investigators traced the child pornography to Wehs' apartment and seized his computer, which contained multiple images and videos of child pornography.
