Jackson, MS - In a shocking turn of events, Jehovah Horace Dixon, a 25-year-old resident of the Pearl River Community of the Choctaw Indian Reservation, pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm on April 28, 2026.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Kevin J. Payne, Brian K. Burns, and Special Assistant United States Attorney Kalleigh McCoy.
Dixon is scheduled to be sentenced on July 29, 2026, and he faces a maximum penalty of 15 years of incarceration. A federal district judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
