Jelani Christmas, Methamphetamine Trafficking, Pennsylvania 2024

Published September 4, 2025

A massive haul of over 50 kilograms of methamphetamine was uncovered in a van operated by Jelani Christmas, 42, of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

On August 14, 2024, law enforcement executed a search warrant on the van and found a hidden compartment containing the illicit substance.

The methamphetamine, weighing over 111 pounds, is a staggering amount of the highly addictive and destructive drug.

Christmas was charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and pleaded guilty to that offense in June of this year.

In a Philadelphia court, United States District Judge Joel H. Slomsky sentenced Christmas to 200 months in prison and five years of supervised release.

The case was investigated by the Montgomery County Detective Bureau, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Assistant United States Attorneys Lindsey Mills, John Boscia, and Rebecca Kulik are prosecuting the case.
