Jeremiah Bobb, Sexual Abuse of a Minor and Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Child, Washington 2023
A 27-year-old White Swan man has been sentenced to 40 years in federal prison for the Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Child and sexual abuse of a minor.
Jeremiah Bobb, of White Swan, Washington, was convicted of one count of Sexual Abuse of a Minor and one count of Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Child on July 31, 2023, following a multi-day jury trial.
According to court documents, between 2016 and 2017, Bobb sexually assaulted two minors in a home on the Yakima Nation, where Bobb and the victims lived.
The sentences will run concurrently, and Bobb will serve an additional 180 months in federal prison for the Sexual Abuse of a Minor charge. United States District Judge Mary K. Dimke also ordered Bobb to a lifetime of federal supervision after he is released from prison.
“My heart breaks for the victims in this case. I am grateful for their courage to come forward and engage with law enforcement to seek justice,” stated U.S. Attorney Vanessa Waldref.
“Two children’s lives were forever impacted by Mr. Bobb’s grievous actions.” said Richard A. Collodi, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Seattle field office.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Yakama Nation Police Department. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Michael Murphy. The sentences were handed down on July 31, 2023, in Yakima, Washington.
