Jeremy Deen, Methamphetamine Possession, Nebraska 2019
A Lincoln man has been sentenced to 120 months in prison for possession of methamphetamine. Jeremy Deen, 34, was sentenced by Senior United States District Court Judge Richard G. Kopf on November 20, 2019.
Deen was found to be in possession of more than 55 grams of methamphetamine on August 31, 2018, in an apartment complex in Lincoln, Nebraska. Investigators located the methamphetamine in a backpack Deen was wearing, in addition to other drug paraphernalia.
Deen also had active arrest warrants at the time of his arrest. A search warrant was later served on the detached garage where Deen was found, revealing a stolen motorcycle, ammunition, and another 1.6 grams of methamphetamine.
The case was investigated by the Lincoln/Lancaster County Drug Task Force.
Deen will serve 120 months in prison followed by five years on supervised release.
This is not the first time Deen has been involved in illicit activity. His arrest and subsequent sentencing serve as a reminder of the ongoing struggle against methamphetamine trafficking in Nebraska.
