Jerrinon Tate, Armed Robbery, Missouri 2018

A shocking wave of violence swept through the St. Louis area in June 2018, leaving a trail of fear and destruction in its wake. One of the individuals involved in this spree was Jerrinon Tate, a 28-year-old St. Louis man who has now been sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for his role in two separate armed robberies.

According to court documents, Tate's crimes took place on June 21, 2018. At 1:00 a.m., he entered the QuikTrip located at 10845 Lilac in Bellefontaine Neighbors in Saint Louis County. With a black semi-automatic pistol pointed at the clerk, Tate demanded money, leaving the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Just hours later, Tate struck again, this time at the Moto Mart located at 11005 Riverview Drive in the City of St. Louis. He pointed a black semi-automatic pistol at the clerk and demanded money, before making off with another undisclosed amount of cash.

The final act of Tate's crime spree took place at the Family Dollar store located at 8971 Halls Ferry, St. Louis, Missouri. With a firearm pointed at the clerk, Tate demanded money and threatened to shoot the clerk. He ultimately left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

When the dust settled, Tate had amassed a total of approximately $847 in cash from his three seperate robberies.

Tate appeared before U.S. District Judge Henry E. Autrey, who ultimately sentenced him to 14 years in federal prison.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated this case, bringing Tate to justice for his crimes.

The people of St. Louis can rest a little easier tonight, knowing that one of the individuals responsible for the violent crime wave that swept through their community has been brought to justice.
