Convicted Felon Indicted for Possession of Unregistered Firearm
Pensacola, Florida - Jesse Allen Hudson, 43, of Pensacola, Florida, has been indicted in federal court on one count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon and one count of possession of unregistered firearm.
According to United States Attorney John P. Heekin, Hudson appeared before United States Magistrate Judge Hope T. Cannon for his initial appearance at the United States Courthouse in Pensacola, Florida. Trial is scheduled for June 15, 2026, in Pensacola before District Court Judge T. Kent Wetherell, II.
If convicted, Hudson faces up to 15 years' imprisonment on the possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon count, and up to 10 years' imprisonment on the possession of unregistered firearm count.
This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Escambia County Sheriff's Office. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Thomas S.P. Geeker.
